New Philippines President Duterte Urges the killing of "Drug Addicts"

New Philippines President Duterte Urges citizens, Police and Communist Rebels to start killing "Drug Addicts"

New Philippines President Duterte wants drug addicts killed and murdered in cold blood. He does not care if their addiction is not something they might be able to stop easily which could be for many reasons including; they were born a drug addict if their parents were or if for example very young when older people pushed drugs on them. Also these people have little hope for rehabilitation as there is very few places they can get help in the Philippines and most would not even know who to ask.

So the best solution according to Duterte is to KILL THEM ALL as well as the dealers.

it's horrible, what a person and I will certainly not be visiting that country while he remains in power.
Newly inaugurated Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has urged communist rebels to start killing drug traffickers and people to kill addicts, adding another layer to a controversial war on crime in which he has warned thousands will die.

Newly inaugurated Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has urged communist rebels to start killing drug traffickers and people to kill addicts, adding another layer to a controversial war on crime in which he has warned thousands will die.

The communists' armed wing, the 4,000-strong New People's Army, is known for assassinating civilians deemed to have committed so-called crimes against the people — however its courts and summary executions are illegal.

"Drugs have reached the hinterlands ... what if you use your kangaroo courts to kill them to speed up the solution to our problem," Mr Duterte, a lawyer and former city prosecutor, said in a speech before the military's top brass in Manila.

In a late-night speech on Thursday to a slum community in the capital attended by only a few journalists, Mr Duterte also called on ordinary Filipinos to kill drug addicts, which is also illegal.

Mr Duterte also vowed to kill drug traffickers, using foul language he promised in recent weeks to "tone down" as president.

"These sons of whores are destroying our children," the 71-year-old said.

"I warn you, don't go into that, even if you're a policeman, because I will really kill you."

'Duterte must break rhetoric as president'

A former mayor of the southern city of Davao, Mr Duterte had alternately denied and confirmed running death squads there that summarily executed suspected criminals.

Mr Duterte won May's election in a landslide after a campaign dominated by his pledge to end crime within six months, promising to do so by unleashing security forces with shoot-to-kill orders.

I hope we see an appearance at The Hague by Duterte in the near future. He is already guilty of multiple atrocities and is nothing but a cold blooded murderer. He has sucked in a lot of people there to turn themselves in but reports from my friends who live there say people that turned themselves in were later killed by the police so they could get reward money to use for buying roosters for their cock fighting. Reports are also unclear as they are terrible at keeping records there and no one even has an idea what the true size of the population is as many births and deaths go unregistered due to lack of money, education and a corrupt and useless system. Some say the murders Duterte has ordered could already be in the thousands. Many of these people are just drug addicts, people born into a drug family at birth or pushed into drugs at a young age. Duterte ordered the massacre of these people instead of offering rehab. This Muslim nutter is an extremist and should be hunted down like they did with Saddam Hussein, hiding in a hole.. He is worse than Hussein in my view as he is killing people by tricking them into surrendering then slaughtering them. Drugs are not the problem in the Philippines, this is just easy for Dutertie to pick of druggies in mass slaughters to shock the nation into submission and to make it look like he is cleaning up the place. The real problems are corruption and poverty.

Someone else posted on another forum that they think Duterte is doing a good job.

I said, a good job? so it was OK to kill off hundreds or thousands of innocent drug addicts that their only crime was they had no help for their addiction?

Hitler also did good things for the Germans and got rid of corruption. You do realize that if we could go back to history you would be supporting Hitler with your justification. he also rounded up drug addicts, Jews, gays etc and exterminated them when they handed themselves in like Duterte is doing right now.

It goes to show how little progress mankind has come in 70 odd years.

Idi Amin is his idol, speaks for itself.
Duterte says human rights not a concern in drug war

MANILA--Human rights are not a concern in Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, he said, as he vowed to ignore due process and compared himself to Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.
Duterte's threat came as the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) joined the chorus of groups criticizing Duterte's advocacy of killing.

In the latest of a series of tirades, the country's newly elected leader doubled down on a promised campaign of widespread killings and said he wouldn't listen to "bleeding hearts."

"I will retire with the reputation of Idi Amin," he said in a speech Sunday, referring to the late African ruler whose 1971-1979 regime was characterised by large-scale rights abuses that killed tens if not hundreds of thousands of Ugandans.

"I am not afraid of human rights (concerns). I will not allow my country to go to the dogs," Duterte said, vowing to pardon all abuses committed by security forces.

Here are some links and info I just dug up that might be of interest....

First we can start with his history:
'The Davao Death Squads or DDS, is a vigilante group active in Davao City in the Philippines. The group is allegedly responsible for summary executions of individuals suspected of petty crimes and dealing in drugs in Davao. It has been estimated that the group is responsible for the killing or disappearance of between 1,020 and 1,040 people between 1998 and 2008
'Amnesty International states, killings and extrajudicial executions continued throughout the year, particularly of criminal suspects. In Mindanao many such killings, including those of minors, were attributed to the so-called “Davao Death Squad” vigilante group
'An investigation by Human Rights Watch found that the killings began in the mid-1990s during the second term of then-Davao City Mayor (now President) Rodrigo Duterte.

He even thinks so highly of himself (which is well known in Davao) that he has pardoned himself from ever standing trail for his atrcoicites once he steps down:
'He said critics of his tough approach to fighting the drug menace should realize that if pushed against the wall, he would not hesitate to use his power to pardon policemen involved in the war against drugs. He said he would also grant pardon to himself after his term.
'After I leave Malacañang, I will have this signed: Pardon is hereby granted to Rodrigo Duterte. Signed Rodrigo Duterte, he said, adding he cannot even be made to serve time in prison because of his age.

'Even before he was elected, he had already promised to send the bodies of tens of thousands of criminals to the bottom of Manila Bay. In recent weeks, he has cheered on security forces with offers of a 3 million peso (S$86,000) bounty and a medal as the body count rose.

'Hopes, however, have mingled with fears. The spate of killings of suspected drug pushers and users triggered suspicions that crooked cops were getting rid of their accomplices or that they were acting on the green light to kill drug pushers and addicts with no or minimal attention to due process that they feel they had gotten from the president.
source: http://links.org.au/node/4757
'Were some of those killed innocent victims? Were some of them “bata-bata” of police officers silenced so they won’t squeal on their police bosses? Were there firefights or grabbing of guns by the victims as they are transported to or inside police precincts?
While human rights advocates raised hell over the killings, those who approved of the “Duterte method” were hoping the campaign would not stop

'Pamatong accused Duterte before the international tribunal of masterminding the summary killings and execution “of more than 1,700 innocent persons and the threat to transform the Philippines into a burial or cemetery capital of the world.
'Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa has ordered an investigation into the summary killings. Most of the victims executed are suspected drug offenders and petty criminals.
'Ranque noted the increasing number of suspected drug pushers summarily executed.
“The extrajudicial killings of suspected drug lords may be the handiwork of drug syndicates themselves to cover up their links to law enforcement and political leaders,” Ranque said.

'“The National Union of People’s Lawyers, a nongovernmental organization that provides free legal services to victims of alleged human rights abuses, described the recent surge in police killings of criminal suspects as 'apparent serial summary executions' and called for them to stop,” Kline’s report read.
'In this July 2016 photo, a policeman accused of being a drug pusher was tortured and killed while still wearing his police uniform in Meycauayan City in Bulacan. The STAR/Boy Cruz

'The ICJ said that it considers imposition of the death penalty to be a "violation of the right to life and the absolute prohibition of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
'Meanwhile, Sen. Leila de Lima had filed a Senate resolution which seeks an inquiry into the rising number of extrajudicial killings and summary executions of suspected criminals.
'De Lima cited the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights states that "every human being has the inherent right to life.

Killing the journalists from the media if they don't report how he wants: http://www.philstar.com/headlines/2016/ ... a-killings
'Apart from being an affront to the dignity of persons and their loved ones, shame campaigns and sexual harassment also undermine the well-being of communities and Philippine society in general. Such acts, categorized as psychological torture is prohibited by the Anti-Torture Act of 2009 or RA 9745. By allowing such illegal acts by authorities, we contribute to the culture haphazard, harmful and arbitrary dispensation of justice. Local Executives should treat drug dependents with compassion and facilitate their rehabilitation while ensuring that those involved in the drug trade are brought to justice through legitimate processes.
so much more, this is just a tiny fraction of what is been written about this madman.
